#SelfieBuddy is a wooden camera that captures and uploads animated GIF files to Twitter. Photos are visible only on Twitter after they have been uploaded, removing the opportunity for users to self-edit or retake the photo. The GIFS are surprises, eliciting nostalgia of waiting for film to develop while waiting for it appear on social media.
